Civil EJN Contact Points Meeting

The 92nd Meeting of Civil EJN Contact Points took place in Madrid on 4 and 5 September 2023.
The meeting was dedicated to the functioning of Regulation (EU) 4/2009 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and cooperation in matters relating to maintenance obligations.
In addition to the presence of the Contact Point Judge, Dr Rosa Lima, and the legal advisor, Dr Carlos Rosado, the meeting was also attended by Dr Miguel Vara, Head of the International Judicial Cooperation Division of the DGAJ, the central authority for the regulation in question, and also by Dr Isabel Malheiro de Almeida, representing the Portuguese Bar Association.
